A GUIDE TO ORDINATION IN THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND, WITH INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES FOR HOLY ORDERS, BY THE REV. T. W. WOOD, Chaplain of the Rhydd Court Domestic Chapel, Worcester, PREFACE. THE HE attention of a large number of young men is now being directed to the fact that the supply of Candidates for Ordination in the Church of England is not equal to the demand for Curates. and and there are many who would gladly, no doubt, offer themselves to supply the want if they knew how to proceed. The principal questions which have to be decided are the necessary qualifications for Ordination, and the expense. This "Guide" professes to give information on these points; which, having been collected from authentic sources, may be considered as reliable. The Editor wishes to take this opportunity to thank all those who have kindly replied to his enquiries for information. |
