18. And the idols he shall utterly abolish.

19. And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the Lord, and for the glory of his majesty, when he arifeth to shake terribly the earth.

20. In that day a man fball caft his idols of filver, and his idols of gold, which they made, each one for himself to worship, to the moles, and to the bats:

4. But with righteousness shall he judge the

CHAP. XXIV. 17-23.

21. And it fall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall punifh the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.

22. And they shall be gathered together as prisoners are gathered

in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days fall they be vifited.

23. Then the moon fhall be confounded, and the fun ashamed, when the Lord of hosts fhall reign in mount Zion and in JerufaLem, and before his ancients gloriously.

CHAP. XXVj. 20, 21.

20. Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thy felf as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpaft.

21. For behold, the Lord cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity, the earth also shall disclose her bloud, and fhall no more cover her flain.

CHAP. Xxvij. 1.

IN that day the Lord with his fore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing ferpent, even leviathan that crooked ferpent, and he shall flay the dragon that is in the fea.

CHAP. XXIX. 5-8.

5. Moreover, the multitude of thy ftrangers shall be like small duft, and the multitude of the terrible ones fhall be as chaff that paffeth away: yea, it shall be at an inftant fuddenly.

6. Thoufhalt be vifited of the Lord of hofts with thunder, and with earthquake, and great noife, with storm and tempeft, and the flame of devouring fire.

7. And the multitude of all nations that fight against Ariel, even all that fight against her, and her munition, and that distress her, fhall be as a dream of a night vision.

Itfhalleven be as when a hungry man dreameth, and behold he eateth; but he awaketh, and his foul is empty or as when a thirsty man dreameth, and behold he drinketh; but he awaketh, and behold he is faint, and his foul bath appetite: So fhall the multitude of all the nations be, that fight against mount Zion.

CHAP. XXX. 25-33.

25. And there fall be upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of waters, in the day of the great Laughter, when the towres fall.

26. Moreover, the light of the moon shall be as the light of the fun, and the light of the fun shall be seven-fold, as the light of the Seven days, in the day that the Lord bindeth up the breach of his people, and healeth the stroke of their wound.

27. Behold the name of the Lord cometh from far, burning with his anger, and the burden thereof is heavy :- his lips are full of indignation, and his tongue as a devouring fire..

28. And his breath as an overflowing stream, fhall reach to the midst of the neck, to fift the nations with the five of vanity: and there fhall be a bridle in the Jaws of the people, causing them to err.

29. Tefball have a fong as in the night, when a holy folemnity is kept, and gladness of heart, as when one goeth with a pipe to come into the mountain of the Lord, to the mighty One of Ifrael,

30. And the Lord fhall cause his glorious voice to be heard, and fall fhew the lighting down of his arm, with the indignation of his anger, and with the flame of a devouring fire, with scattering, and tempeft, and hailstones.

31. For through the voice of the Lord fhall the Affyrian be beaten down which fmote with a rod.

32. And in every place where the grounded staff shall pass, which the Lord fhall lay upon him, it shall be with tabrets and harps: and in battels of shaking will he fight with it.

33. For Tophet is ordained of old: yea, for the king it is prepared: he hath made it deep and large: the pile thereof is fire and much wood, the breath of the Lord, like a stream of brimstone doth kindle it.

CHAP. Xxxj. 8, 9.

8. Then shall the Affyrian fall with the sword, not of a mighty man; and the fword, not of a mean man fall devour him: but. he fhall flee from the fword, and his young men fhall be discomfited.

9. And he shall pass over to his ftrong hold for fear, and his princesshall be afraid of the the enfign, faith the Lord, whofe fire is in Zion, and his furnace in Jerufalem.

13. The Lord fhall go forth as a mighty man, he shall stir up jealoufie like a man of war: he shall cry; yea, rore; he shall prevail against his enemies.

14. Ihave long time holden my peace, I have been still and refrained my felf: now will I cry like a travailing woman, I will der/ ftroy and devour at once.

15: I will make waste mountains and hills, and dry up all their herbs, and I will make the rivers ißands, and Iwill dry up the pools.

CHAP. LIV. 15, 16, 17.

15. Behold, they shall furely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee, fhall fall for thy fake. 16. Behold, I have created the fmith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work, and I have created the wafter to destroy.

17. No weapon that is formed against thee, shall profper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment, thou shalt condemn This is the heritage of the fervants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, faith the Lord.

CHAP. LIX. 17, 18, 19.

17. For he put on righteousness as a breast-plate, and an helmet: of falvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of ven-geance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloke.

18. According to their deeds, accordingly he will repay, fury to his adverfaries, recompence to his enemies, to the islands, he will repay recompence.

19. Sofball they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and: his glory from the rising of the fun when the enemy shall come in: like a floud, the spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard agains him.

CHAP. LXiij. 1–6:

3. I have trodden the wine-prefs alone, and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury, and their bloud shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment.

4. For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.

`5. And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondred that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought falvation unto me, and my fury, it upheld me.

6. And I will tread down the people in mine anger, and make them drunk in my fury, and I will bring down their strength to the

CHAP. LXVj. 6, 15, 16.

6. A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the Lord, that rendreth recompence to his enemies.

15. For behold, the Lord will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirl-wind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.

16. For by fire, and by his fword, will the Lord plead with all flefl: and the flain of the Lord fhall be many.

2. Son of man fet thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Mefbech and Tubal, and prophefie against

him.

4. And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy chaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horfes and horsemen, all of them clothed with all forts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and fields, all of them handling fwords.

5. Perfia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with Shield and helmet:

6. Gomer and all his bands, the house of Togarmah of the north-quarters, and all his bands, and many people with thee. 7. Be thou prepared, and prepare for thy felf, thou and all thy company that are assembled unto thee,and be thou a guard unto them.
