8. After many days thou shall be vifited: in the latter years thou fhalt come into the land that is brought back from the fword, and is. gathered out of many people; against the mountains of Ifrael, which have been always wafte: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell Jafely all of them.

9. Thou shalt afcend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou and all thy bands, and many people. with thee.

10. Thus faith the Lord God, It shall also come to pass that at the fame time fhall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought.

11. And thou shalt fay, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages, I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell fafely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates.

12. To take a spoil, and to take a prey, to turn thine hand upon the defolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattel,and goods, and that dwell in the midft of the land.

13. Sheba and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young young lions thereof, fhall fay unto thee, Art thou come to take a Spoil? haft thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away filver andgold, to take away cattel and goods, to take a great Spoil?

14. Therefore fon of man, prophefie and say unto Gog, Thus faith the Lord God, In that day when my people of Ifrael dwelleth · fafely, fhalt thou not know it?

15. And thoufhalt come from thy place out of the north-parts, thou and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, agreat company, and a mighty army.

16. And thou shalt come up against my people of Ifrael, as av cloud to cover the land; it fhall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that he heathen may know me, when Ifhall be fanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.

17. Thus faith the Lord God, Art thou he of whom I have Spoken in old time by my fervants the prophets of Ifrael, which prophefied in thofe days, many years, that I would bring thee against them?

18. And it fhall come to pass at the fame time, when Gog fall come against the land of Ifrael, faith the Lord God, that my jury fall come up in my face.

19. For in my jealousie, and in the fire of my wrath have I Spoken: furely in that day there fhall be a great shaking in the land of Ifrael:

So that the files of the fea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall Shake at my prefence, and the mountains, shall be thrown down, and the steep places fhall fall, and every wall hall fall to the ground. 21. And I will call for a fword against him throughout all my mountains, faith the Lord God: every mans fword shall be against his brother.

22. And I will plead against him with peftilence,and with blond, and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great ftones, fire and brimstone.

23. Thus will I magnifie my self. and fanctifie my self, and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the Lord.

EZEKIEL XXXIX. 1-24.

Herefore, thou fon of man, prophese against Gog, and fay, Thus faith the Lord God, Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Mefbech and Tubal.

2. And I will turn thee back,and leave but the fixth part of thee, Apoc. xvj. 12. [or,pour out my fixth vial upon thee, Jand will cause thee to come up from the north-parts, will bring thee upon the mountains of Ifrael

3. And I will fmite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause shine arrows to fall out of thy right hand.

4. Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Ifrael, thou and all thy bands, and the people that is with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every fort, and to the beafts of the field to be devonred.

5. Thou shalt fall upon the open field, for I have spoken it, faith

the Lord God.

6. And I will fend a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carel fly in the ifles, and they shall know that I am the Lord.

So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Ifrael, and I will not pollute my holy name any more; and the beathen shall know that I am the Lord, the holy One in Ifrael.

9. And they that dwell in the cities of Ifrael hall go forth, and all fet on fire, and burn the weapons, both the fheilds, and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the hand-staves, and the Spears, and they fall burn them with fire feven years:

10. So that they hall take no wood out of the field,neither cut down any out of the forests: for they shall burn the weapons with fire, and they fhall Spoil thofe that fported them, and rob thofe that robbed them, faith the Lord God.

11. And it fall come to pass in that day, that I will give unto Gog a place there of graves in Ifrael, the valley of the passengers on the east of the fea; and it shall stop the noses of the passengers, and there fall they bury Gog, and all his multitude, and they fhall call it, the valley of Hamon-gog.

12. And feven months fhall the house of 1 frael be burying of them, that they may cleanfe the land.

13. Yea all the people of the land fhall bury them,and it shall be to them a renown, the day that I fhall be glorified, faith the Lord God.

14. And they shall fever out men of continual employment, paffing through the land, to bury with the paffengers those that remain upon the face of the earth to cleanse it: after the end of seven months Shall they fearch.

15. And the paffengers that pass through the land, when any feeth a mans bone, then fhall he fet up a fign by it, till the buryers have buried it in the valley of Hamon-gog.

16. And also the name of the city shall be Hamonah: thus shall they cleanse the land.

17. And thon fon of man, Thus faith the Lord God, Speak unto unto every feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field, Affemble your felves and come; gather your felves on every fide to my facrifice that I do facrifice for you, even a great facrifice upon the mountains of Ifrael, that ye may cat flesh, and drink blood.

18. Ye shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bullocks, all of them failings of Bashan.

19. And ye fall eat fat till ye be full, and drink blood till ye be drunken, of my facrifice which I have facrificed for you.

20. Thus ye shall be filled at my table with horfes and chariots, with mighty men, and with allmen of war, Jaiththe Lord God.

21. And I will fet my glory among the heathen, and all the hea-then hall fee my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them.

20. But I will remove far off from you the northern army, and will drive him into a land barren and defolate, with his face toward the east-fea, and his hinder part toward the utmost sea; and his stink fhall come up, and his ill favour shall come up, because he hath done great things.

3. And they have caft lots for my people, and have given a boy for a barlot, and fold a girlfor wine, that they may drink.

4. Tea, and what have ye to do with me, O Tyre and Zidon, and all the coafts of Palestine ? will ye render me a recompence? and if ye recompence me, swiftly and speedily will I return your recompence upon your own head.

5. Because ye have taken my filver and my gold, and have carried into your temple my goodly pleasant things.

6. The children also of Judah, and the children of Jerusalem bave ye fold unto the Grecians, that ye might remove them far from their border.

7. Behold, I will raise them out of the place whither ye have fold them, and will return your recompence upon your own head.

8. And I will fell your fons and your daughters into the hand of the children of Judah, and they shall fell them to the Sabeans, to a people far off; for the Lord hath spoken it.

9. Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles: prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near, let them come up.

10. Beat

10. Beat your plow-fhares into fwords, and your pruning-hooks into fpears; let the weak fay, I am strong.

11. Affemble your felves, and come all ye heathen, and gather your felves together round about: thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O Lord.

12. Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I fit to judge all the heathen round about. 13. Putye in the fickle, for the harvest is ripe; come, get ye down, for the prefs is full, the fats overflow, for their wickedness is great.

14. Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decifion: for the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decifion.

15. The fun and the moon shall be darkned, and the stars Shall withdraw their fhinning

8. Therefore wait ye upon me,faith the Lord, until the day that I rife up to the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that may affemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousie.

19. Behold, at that time I will undo all that afflict thee. and I will fave her that halteth, and gather her that was driven out, and I will get them praise and fame in every land where they have been put to Jhame.

6. In that day will I make the governours of Judah like a hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they fhall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerufalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerufalem.

7. The Lord alfo fhall fave the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David, and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerufalem, do not magnifie them felves against Judah.

8. In that day hall the Lord defend the inhabitants of Jerufalem, and he that is feeble among them at that day fhall be as David; and the house of Dauid fhall be as God, as the angel of the Lord before

them.
