In justice he will take delight, His way is ever pure and right, Although he doth condemn; His righteous law all sins condemn, How thankful should I ever be, And my poor heart received; His praises I will ever sing, MARY AT THE FEET OF THE [Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha, received him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet and heard his word. But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alene? bid her therefore that she help me. Luko 10. 38 to 42 ] Like Mary I would like to sit, This spirit is of a great price, The Savior Christ did say; Now Mary chose the better part, And served the table well. True knowledge then did Mary seek, Ah, with my tears I wash his feet, An alabaster box I'd break, For al, the poor we always have, Though opposition should arise, But my blest Master would I serve, Give me a meek and lowly heart, ISRAEL IN THE WILDERNESS. [And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left. And the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them, to the midst of the sea, even all Pharoh's horses, his chariots, and his horsemen. And the Lord said unto Moses, Stretch out thy hand over the sea, that the wa. ters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen. And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the Lord over threw the Egyptians in the midst of the sea And the waters returned, an G covered the cariots, and the horsemen, and all the host of Pharoh that came into the sea after them: there re mained not so much as one of thein.-Exo. 14:22 to 18.] When Moses his brethren from Egypt did lead, Much faith in Jehovah these pilgrims did need; Their own unbelief cast them down on the way, To idols of gold they their homage did pay.
