F Hymn 82. P. M. ATHER, Son, and Holy Ghost, As by the celestial host, One, Let thy will on earth be done: 2 If so poor a worm as I May to thy great glory live, All my actions sanctify, All my words and thoughts receive. 3 Take my soul and body's powers! Now I give thee back thine own; Freedom, friends, and health, and fame, Consecrate to thee alone: Thine I live, thrice happy 1; Happier still if thine I die. 5 Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, One in Three, and Three in One, As by the celestial host, Let thy will on earth be done: Praise by all to thee be given, Glorious Lord of earth and heaven. 1 Hymn 83. S. M. JESUS, my truth, my way, My sure unerring light, 2 My wisdom and my guide, 3 I lift mine eyes to thee, 4 Never will I remove Out of thy hands my cause, 5 Teach me the happy art, With thee in strength divine; 7 Persist to save my soul, Throughout the fiery hour, Till I am every whit made whole, And show forth all thy power. 8 Through fire and water bring Into the wealthy place, i And teach me the new song to sing, 9 O make me all like thee, Hymn 84. S. M. 110, in thy hand I lay, And wait thy will to 2 Thy gracious readiness To save mankind assert: Bowels of mercy, hear, Into my soul come down; 3 O plant in me thy mind! 1 Jesus is full of grace, To all his bowels move: Behold in me, ye fallen race, That God is only love! G Hymn 85. L. M. REAT God, indulge my humble claim; ১ The glories that compose thy name, Staud all engag'd to make me blest. 2 Thou great and good, thou just and wise, Thou art my Father and my God! And I am thine by sacred ties, Thy son, thy servant bought with blood. 3 With heart, and eyes, and lifted hands, For thee I long, for thee I look, As travellers in thirsty lands Pant for the cooling water-brook. 4 E'en life itself, without thy love, No lasting pleasure can afford; Yea, 'twould a tiresome burden prove, If I were banish'd from thee, Lord! 5 I'll lift my hands, I'll raise my voice, While I have breath to pray or praise, This work shall make my heart rejoice, And spend the remnant of my days. Hymn 86. L. M. 1 O THOU, to whose all-searching sight, The darkness shineth as the light, Search, prove my heart, it pants for thee, O burst these bonds and set it free! 2 Wash out its stains, refine its dross, 3 If in this darksome wild I stray, No fraud, while thou, my God, art near. 5 Saviour, where'er thy steps I see, Hymn 87. L. M. ESUS, thou everlasting King, Accept thy well-deserv'd renown, |
