. · Ż4 The Son of man goeth as it is written of him: bnt woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not been born. • ૨૪ માઁણુશના દીકરા શ×ધી જૈન લખ્યુંછે તેમ તે નÊ ખરા પણુ જે માંણુગ્રંથી નાંણુશને દીકરો પકડાવા૨ે તેહેન હાર્મોહાએ [0] ને તે માંશ જનને ન હોત તેા એ તેણેને શારૂં હોત 25 Then Judas, which betrayed him, answered and said, Master, is it I! He said unto him, Thou hast said. ૨૫ તાહારે તેણેને પકડાવનાર ઇહુદાએ જવાબ દેતાં કહ્યું આ ગુરૂ શું હું તે છઊં તે તેહેને કહ્યું કે તેં પોતેજ કહું 26 | And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. ૨૬ ને તેઓ જનતા હતા તારે ઇએ રેટલો લઈને તથા શતુતી કરીને ભાંળે ને શીશાને આપીને કહું કે લે ખાઓ એજ નાહારૂં શરીર છે 27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; ૨૭ ને તેણે વાડકો લઈને તથા તુતી કરીને તેને આપતાં કહું કે તને હુ હેમાંથી પી 28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. ૨૮ કેનકે નવા બંદોબશતનું નાહારૂં તેણે જે ઘણાને લીધે પા ની ભાષીને શારૂ વહેવડાવાએછું તે એ છે 29 But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when 1 drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom. ૨૯ ને હું તમને કહુંછુઊં કે નાહારા બાપના રાજમાં હું તમારી શાથે તે નવા પીશ તે દાણાડા સુધી દરાખના આ રશ હુનાં થી હું નીંજ પીશ 30 And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives. ૩. પછી તેઓ શતુતી ગાઈને જૈતાનના પાહાડ પર બાહાર ગ 31 Then saith Jesus unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad. ૩૧ તાહારૂં ઇશ્યુ તેને કહેછે કે તને શહુ આજ રાતમાં હું શમઁધી ઢાકર ખાશે। કાંજે એંમ લખુંછે કે હું રખેવાલને નારીશ ને ટાલાનાં ગેટ વેીનંખાશે 32 But after I am risen again, I will go :before you into Galilee. ૩ર તાપણુ હું ઊઠા પછી તનથી અગાઊ ગાલલીમાં જઈશ 33 Peter answered and said unto him, Though all men shall be offended because of thee, yet will I never be offended. ૩૩ તાહારે પીતર જવાબ દેતાં તેણેને કહું ને બધાજ તું શ×ધી ઠોકર ખાશે તાપણુ હું કદી ઢોકર નહીં ખાઈશ 34 Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this night, before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. ૩૪ ઈશુએ તેહેને કહું હું તને સાચું કહુંઊં કે આજ રાતમાં ભુરહ્યો બાલા અગાઊ તરણુ વાર હું અને નાકબુલ કરીશ 35 Peter said unto him, Though I should die with thee, yet will I not deny thee. Likewise also said all the dis.iples. ૩૫ પીતર તેહેન કહે ને તાહારી શાથે નહારે ભરવું પડે ત હું તને નાકબુલ નહીંજ કરીશ બધા શીશોએ પણ અનજ કહું 36 ¶ Then cometh Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder. ૩૬ તાહારે ઈશ્યુ તેની સાથે ગ્રંથશૅનાની કહેવાઅલે ઠેકાણે આવેછે ને શીશાને કહેછે કે હું તાંહાં જઈને પરારથના કરૂં તાં સુધી તને હુ બેશા 37 And he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and very heavy. ૩૭ પછી પીતરને તથા જેબેદીના બે દીકરાને પાથે લઈને પોતે શાકવાલા તથા ઘણા દલગીર થવા લાગેા 38 Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me. ૩૮ તાહારે તે તેને કહેછે કે નાહારો જીવ ભરવા જેહેવા ઘણો શાકવાલા છે તને હી રોહા ને નાહારી થાય નગતા રાહો 39 And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this eup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt. ૩૮ પછી તેણે ઘોડે આગલ જઈને ઊંધે મોહોડે પડીને પરારથના કરતાં કહું કે એ નાહારા બાપ ને થઈ શકે તે એ પેલું માહાવી થી ાએ તાપણુ હું ચાહુંઊં તેમ ન પણુ તું [ચાહેછે] તેમ [ચાએ] * 40 And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour! ૪૦ પછી શીશાની પાશે તે આવેછે ને તેઓને ઊંઘતા દેખીને પી નરને કહેછે શું તને એક ઘડી પણ નાહારી શાથે નગતા રી નથી શકતા 41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. ૪૧ તને ૫રીખશાનાં ન પડો એમા નગતા રહો ને પરારથના ફા આતના ચાણાનાર [છે] ખરા પણુ શરીર નખલું [છે] 42 He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done. ૪૨ નલી ખીજીવાર તેણે જઈન પરારથના કરતાં કહું ઓ માહારા બાપ ને એ પેલું માહારા પીધા વગર નાહારી પાશેથી જઈ નથી શકતું તે તાહાવી ઈચ્છા થાએ 43 And he came and found them asleep again: for their eyes were heavy. ૪૩ તાહારે તેણે આવીને ખીજીવાર તેને ઊંઘતા દીઠા કેમકે તેઓની આંખા ઊંઘી થઈ હતી 44 And he left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words. ૪૪ પછી તેણે તેને સુકીને વસી જઈને તીજીવાર તેજ વાત કહેતાં પરારથના કીધી 45 Then cometh he to his disciples, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners. ૪૫ તાહારે તે પોતાના શીશાની પાશે આવીને તેઓને કહેછે કે પછી ઊર્યાં કરેં। ને વીર્થાંના ખાઓ નુ ઘડી પાશે આવીછે ને માઁણુશનો દીકરા પાપીઓના હાથાનાં શાઁપાએછે 46 Rise, let us be going: behold, he is at hand that doth betray me. ૪૬ ઊઠો આપણે જઈએ શુઓ જે મને પકડાવેછે તે પાશે આઞ ભાઈ 47 [[ And while he yet spake, lo, Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and elders of the people. ૪૭ ને તે એમ કેહતા હતા તાારેજ ઘુશ્મા તે બારમાંના એક ઇહુદા આએવા ને તેહેની બ્લેડ સુખી ઈચ્છાજકાની તથા લોકોના ઘર ડાોની પાસેથી ઘણા લેાક તરનારા તથા શાટા લઇને [આએવા] 48 Now he that betrayed him gave them a sign, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he: hold him fast. ૪૮ તાહારે તેણેને પકડાવનારે તેઓને નીશાંણી આપતાં [અમ] કહું કે હું જહેને સુખીશ તેજ તે છે તેણેને પકડી લો 49 And forthwith he came to Jesus, and said, Hail, master; and kissed him. ૪૯ ને તુરત તેણે ઇશુની પાસે આવીને કહું એ ગુરૂ શુખી રહે ને તેહને સુના 50 And Jesus said unto him, Friend, wherefore art thou come? Then came they, and laid hands on Jesus, and took him. ૫૦ ને ઇશ્યુએ તેહેને કહું કે એ ભીતર હું શામાટે આગેવા૨ે તા હારે તેઓએ પાશે આવીને ઈશ્યુ પર હાથ નાંખીને તેહેને પકડીલીધો 51 And, behold, one of them which were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and struck a servant of the high priest's, and smote off his ear. પ૧ પછી શુ ઈશુની શાથેનામાંથી એકે હાથ લાંબો કરી ને પોતાની તરવાર કાણાડી ને સુખી ઈઆાજકના ચાકરને મારી ને તેહેનો કાન કાપીનાંખા 52 Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword. પર તાહારે ઇચ્છુ તેહેન કહી તાહારી તરવાર તેહેના ની નમાં પાછી ઘાલ કેમકે જે શઘલા તરવાર પકડેછે તેઓ તરવાર થીજ નાશ પાંખશે 53 Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels! ૫૩ હું ભાહારા બાપની પાશે હમણાં ભાણું તો હુતાની બાર ફોજ કરતાં વહતી તે નાહારી પાશે નોકલશે હેવા હું શકતીભાન નથી તું અન ધારેછે 54 But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be? ૫૪ તે જે ધરમલેખામાં હેવું થવાની જરૂર છે તે કેમ પુરા થશે |
