Complaint of Daniel McCormick against the

High Sheriff of the County of Hunterdon and the Governours

order thereupon

that his Excellency will be pleased to send Directions to the Justices of Hunterdon County or any three of them of which Thomas Leonard Esq' to be one to Enquire into the Matters Set forth in the said Petition and to take all such Affidavits and Examinations as shall be offered them, as well on part of the Petitioner as on the part of the said Sheriff and all such Affidavits & Examinations as shall be so taken before them to forthwith transmitt to his Excellency which his Excellency ordered Accordingly

Mr John Allen Treasurer of the Western Division of New Jersey delivered to this Board the sum of four hundred & fifty eight pounds nine shillings and six pence proclamation Money in y following bills being in full of the Monies directed to be raised out of the Western Division of this Province for the Year one thousand seven hundred and twenty seven by Virtue of an Act Intituled an Act for an Additional Support of this Government and making Current forty Thousand pounds in Bills of Credit for that and other purposes therein mentioned
