PSALM LXVIII.—Ver. 4, 18, 20, 4 repeated.

4.

SING praise, sing praise unto the Lord,
Who rideth on the sky;
Extol the great Jehovah's name,

And Him still magnify.

18.

Thou didst, O Lord, ascend on high,
And captive ledd'st them all
Who, in times past, Thy chosen flock
In bondage did enthral.

20.

For ever praised be the Lord,

He pours on us such grace;
From day to day He is the God
Both of our health and peace.
4.

Sing praise, sing praise unto the Lord,
Who rideth on the sky;
Extol the great Jehovah's name,

And Him still magnify.

PSALM LXXXIV.-Ver. 1, 2, 5, 6.

1.

How pleasant is Thy dwelling place,
O Lord of Hosts, to me!

The tabernacles of Thy grace
How pleasant, Lord, they be!

2.

My soul doth long full sore to go
Into Thy courts abroad;
My heart and flesh cry out also
For Thee, the living God.

5.

Oh! they be blessed that may
Within Thy house always;

dwell

For they all times Thy deeds do tell,
And ever give Thee praise.
6.

Yes, happy sure likewise are they,

Whose stay and strength Thou art, Who to Thy house do mind the way, And seek it in their heart.

PSALM LXXXIX.

Ver. 1, 5, 14, with Gloria Patri.

1.

To sing the mercies of the Lord,
My tongue shall never spare;
My mouth shall ever gratefully
Thy saving truth declare.

5.

The heav'nly host with joy set forth,
Thy wondrous works, O Lord;
Thy saints within Thy Church on earth
Thy faithfulness record.

14.

In righteousness and equity

Thou hast Thy seat and place;
Mercy and truth are still with Thee,
And
go before Thy face.

To Father, Son, and Holy Ghost
Immortal glory be;

As was, and is, and shall be still
To all eternity.

PSALM XCII.-Ver. 1, 2, 3, 4.

1.

It is a thing both good and meet
To praise the highest Lord;

And to Thy name, O Thou Most High,
To sing with one accord:

2.

To shew the kindness of the Lord,
Before the day be light,

And to declare His truth abroad,
When it doth draw to night.

3.

On a ten-stringed instrument,
On lute and harp so sweet,
With all the mirth we can invent
Of instruments most meet.

4.

For Thou hast made us to rejoice
In things so wrought by Thee,
That we have joy in heart and voice
Thy handyworks to see.

PSALM XCVI.-Ver. 1, 2, 7, 8.

1.

SING ye with praise unto the Lord
New songs of joy and mirth ;
Sing unto Him with one accord,
All people on the earth:

2.

Yea, sing unto the Lord alway,
Praise ye His holy name;
Declare and shew from day to day
Salvation by the same.

7.

Ascribe unto the Lord therefore,
All men with one accord-
All might and worship evermore
Ascribe unto the Lord.

8.

Ascribe unto the Lord also
The glory of His name;
Into His courts with presents go,
And offer there the same.

PSALM XCVII.

Ver. 1, 2, 6, with Gloria Patri.

1.

THE Lord doth reign, for which the earth
May sing with grateful voice;

The isles also, with hallowed mirth,
May triumph and rejoice.

2.

Though clouds and awful darkness swell,
And round about Him beat;
Yet right and justice ever dwell,
And bide about His seat.

6.

The heav'ns on high declare and shew
His righteousness abroad;

That all the world may see and know
The glory of our God.

To Father, Son, and Holy Ghost,
Immortal glory be;

As was, and is, and shall be still
To all eternity.

PSALM C.-Ver. 1, 2, 3, 4.

1.

ALL people that on earth do dwell,
Sing to the Lord with cheerful voice;
Him serve with fear, His praise forth tell,
Come ye before Him and rejoice.

2.

The Lord, ye know, is God indeed,

Without our aid He did us make: We are His flock, He doth us feed, And for His sheep He doth us take.
