An Elementary Geology, designed especially for the Interior States, by E. B. ANDREWS, LL. D., of the Ohio Geological Corps, and late Professor of Geology in Marietta College. 12mo., cloth, 283 pp., 432 Illustrations.

The distinctive feature of this work is its lim tation. It is designed for students and readers of the Interior States, and consequently, for such has its chief references to home Geology. By thus limiting the scope of the work, it is believed that a much better book for beginners may be made than if far more were attempted.
