THE HE Lord Jehovah reigns, The garments He assumes Are light and majesty; His glories shine with beams so bright, No mortal eye can bear the sight. The thunders of His hand Keep the wide world in awe; To guard His holy law: And where His love resolves to bless, Through all His ancient works Confounds the powers of hell, And will this mighty King Of glory condescend? And will He write His name, I love His name, I love His word; Join all my powers and praise the Lord. 17 1 L.M. I am a great King, saith the Lord of THE HE Lord is King; lift up thy voice, 2 The Lord is King; child of the dust, 4 Come, make your wants, your burdens known, He will present them at the throne; 5 Oh, when His wisdom can mistake, 8.7.4. 18 Exalt the Lord our God, and worship 1 G at His holy hill.-Ps. 99, 9. Where the cherubim adore Him, Blessed, only Potentate! 2 God the Lord is King of glory, Of His faithfulness proclaim. Holy is His awful name. 3 In old times when dangers darkened, As they called, they found Him near. To the dust their hearts were bowed. 5 But their Father God forgave them When they sought His face once more, Ever ready was to save them, Tenderly did He restore: He is holy: We too will His grace implore. 6 God in Christ is all forgiving, Waits His mercy to fulfil:" Come, exalt Him, all the living; Worship at His holy hill. S.M. 19 Bless ye the Lord, all ye His hosts. Ps. 103, 21. 1 THE this throne on high, HE Lord, the sovereign King, 2 3 4 O'er all the heavenly world He rules, Ye angels, great in might, Bless ye the Lord, whose voice ye hear, Let the bright hosts who wait And guard His churches when they pray, Join in the praise they sing. While all His wondrous works Through His vast kingdom show Their Maker's glory, thou, my soul, Shalt sing His praises too. 104th. 20 All Thy works shall praise Thee, O 1 Lord.-Ps. 145, 10.
