The Lord himself prophesied of great calamities before his coming and declared they were but "the beginning of sorrows." With this beginning, the author begins his insightful explanation of signs that have already been fulfilled, such as the Great Apostasy, the times of the Gentiles, and the Restoration. And he describes signs that are yet to come, such as those involving Satan's evil kingdom and the great plagues of destruction that will cleanse the wicked from the earth.

The reader will be intrigued by prophecies of giant hailstones, the 144,000 high priests, strange signs in the heavens, the sign of the rainbow, the three cities, the great earthquake that will ultimately restore the earth to its Paradisiacal glory, and much more. The author reveals information concerning the great and dreadful day of the Lord, the sign of the coming of the son of man, and the Lord's unique apparel when he appears. He concludes with a discussion of the many judgments that have and will yet take place, including the final great war and the judgment between good and evil at the conclusion of Heavenly Father's Plan of Salvation.
