Amen b) teacheth us to enforce our petitions with arguments c, which are to be taken, not from any worthinefs in ourselves, or in any other creature, but from God d, and with our prayers to join praises e, afcribing to God alone eternal fovereignty, omnipotency, and glorious excellency f; in regard whereof, as he is able
