MONDAY.-Deut. viii. 18.—But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

MONDAY-1 Tim. v. 13.-And withal they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not.

TUESDAY.-Prov. xiii. 4.-The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat. WEDNESDAY.-Prov. xxii. 26.-Be not thou one of them that strike hands, or of them that are sureties for debts.

THURSDAY.—Prov. xxii. 28.-Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set.

FRIDAY.-Heb. xiii. 5.-Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have; for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

MONDAY.-Ex. xx. 16.-Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.

TUESDAY.-Gen. xxi. 30.-And he said, For these seven ewe lambs shalt thou take of my hand, that they may be a witness unto me, that I have digged this well.

WEDNESDAY.-Ex. xxiii. 1.-Thou shalt not raise a false report: put not thine hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness. THURSDAY.--Lev. v. 1.--And if a soul sin, and hear the voice of swearing, and is a witness, whether he hath seen or known of it; if he do not utter it, then he shall bear his iniquity.

FRIDAY.-Prov. xxiv. 28.-Be not a witness against thy neighbor without cause; and deceive not with thy lips.

SATURDAY.-Jer. ix. 3.-And they bend their tongues like their bow for lies but they are not valiant for the truth upon the earth, for they proceed from evil to evil, and they know not me, saith the Lord.

SABBATH.-Acts v. 3.-But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie unto the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?

MONDAY.-Lev. xix. 17.-Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbor, and not suffer sin upon him.

TUESDAY.-Prov. xxv. 23.—The north wind driveth away rain: so doth an angry countenance a backbiting tongue.

WEDNESDAY.-Isa. lxiii. 8.-For he said, Surely they are my people, children that will not lie: so he was their saviour.

THURSDAY.-Prov. xxv. 9.-Debate thy cause with thy neighbor himself; and discover not a secret to another:

FRIDAY.-Jer. iv. 2.—And thou shalt swear, The Lord liveth, in truth, in judgment, and in righteousness; and the nations shall bless themselves in him, and in him shall they glory.

SATURDAY.-Tit. i. 13.-This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith.

SABBATH.-1 Sam. xix. 4.-And Jonathan spake good of David unto Saul his father, and said unto him, Let not the king sin against his servant, against David; because he hath not sinned against thee, and because his works have been to thee ward very good.
