MONDAY.-Gen. iii. 1.-Now the serpent was more subtile than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

TUESDAY.-2 Cor. xi. 3.-But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

WEDNESDAY.-1 John iii. 8.-He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. THURSDAY.-Jude ver. 6.-And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. FRIDAY.-2 Pet. ii. 4.-For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment:

SATURDAY.-Luke x. 18.-And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.

SABBATH.-Mat. xxv. 41.-Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

LESSON X.

MONDAY.-Gen. i. 26.—And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

TUESDAY.-Gen. i. 27.—So God created man in his own image; in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

WEDNESDAY.-Gen. ii. 7.—And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

THURSDAY.-Ps. viii. 5.—For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honor. FRIDAY.-Mal. ii. 10.-Have we not all one Father?

Hath not one God created us? Why do we deal treacherously, every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers? SATURDAY.-Acts xvii. 26.—And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; SABBATH.-1 Cor. ii. 11.-For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

MONDAY.-Prov. xvi. 33.-The lot is cast into the lap; but the whole disposing thereof is of the Lord.

TUESDAY.-Isa. xxvi. 12.-Lord, thou wilt ordain peace for us: for thou also hast wrought all our works in us.

WEDNESDAY.-Dan. iv. 25.-That they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field, and they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and they shall wet thee with the dew of heaven, and seven times shall pass over thee, till thou know that the Most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will.

THURSDAY.-Mat. vi. 30.-Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to-day is, and to-morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

FRIDAY.-Mat. x. 29.-Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. SATURDAY.-Rom. xi. 36.—For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.

SABBATH.-2 Cor. iii. 5.-Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God.

MONDAY.-Gen. iii. 6.-And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. TUESDAY.-Gen. iii. 12.—And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat. WEDNESDAY.-Gen. iii. 13.—And the Lord God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.

THURSDAY.-1 Tim. ii. 14.-But Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.

FRIDAY.-Ps. li. 5.-Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.

SATURDAY.-Eccl. vii. 29.-Lo, this only have I found, that God hath made man upright; but they have sought out many inventions.

SABBATH.-Rom. iii. 12.-They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

MONDAY.-Gal. iii. 10.-For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them.

TUESDAY.—Rom. vi. 23.-For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

WEDNESDAY.-Ps. ix. 17.-The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.

THURSDAY.-2 Thess. i. 9.-Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;

FRIDAY.-Rev. xx. 14.—And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

SATURDAY.-Rev. xiv. 11.—And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. SABBATH.-Jude, ver. 7.-Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them, in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
