The subscribers having purchased the business of Mr. George Peugeot, No. 68 Main Street, intend carrying on the manufacture of these CELEBRATED HAND LANTERNS. Their increased facilities for manufacturing will enable them to afford them as cheap as they can be purchased in New York City or elsewhere. These Lanterns are so constructed that they will burn either lard or coal oil. Your orders are respectfully solicited. We refer you to the following gentlemen who have used the UNION RAIL ROAD HAND LANTERN, patented by E. SIRRET, Oct. 24, 1854, who, after a fair trial, take pleasure in recom-mending them as the best Lantern now in use, on account of the Lamp fastening with the Globe frame, being strong, convenient and simple.
