Jesus returned in the power of the spirit into Galilee; . . . and he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up . . . and he went up into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read and he found the place where it was written, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

SUMMARY.

1-3-As in all periods of the world's history, so now, leaders are needed; 4-12-men who recognize in themselves the mission of God, and are inspired by Him. 13-25-The leader must expect to meet, as his forefathers did, with persecution, risk, toil, hardship, hatred, ridicule and misunderstanding. 26-30

-He must gird up his loins, and put on his armour in soberness and temperance, with strict fidelity. 31-34-He must keep within the law, and paying attention to details, be observant and watchful. 35-38-If he finds himself rejected he must remember that this is the fate of all men who see before their time,
