The Letters of the late John Thorp having been several years out of print, and many applications being made for the work, it has been concluded to re-print them.

In order to render the work more extensively useful, it is printed in demy 12mo. and at a lower price; it may be proper to remark that this edition contains four additional letters, ar α Memoir of Joseph Harwood, formerly of anchester, which it is hoped will prove acceptable.
