BLESSED Jesus, who when on earth didst embrace Thy little ones in the arms of Thy mercy, regard these Thy children gathered in our schools; draw their souls to Thee, vouchsafe to teach them through our lips. Give to our schools the blessings of discipline and order, of peace and concord; and grant that after the schooltime of life, we may enter into the home of eternity, in Thy presence; who livest and reignest with the Father and Holy Spirit, one God, blessed for ever. Amen.

Let us give thanks unto our God;

Ry We will praise the Name of the Lord.

E praise and magnify Thy glorious Name, O blessed Lord God, heavenly King, God the Father Almighty, for all the mercies Thou hast already vouchsafed unto us. Give us, we pray Thee, thankful hearts, and fill our souls with love; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

LORD Jesus Christ, who wast Thyself a little child, bless, we beseech Thee, this and all other schools for the education of Thy children in the knowledge and love of Thy holy Name. Bless those who teach, that they may do so with wisdom and authority. Bless those who learn, that they may do so with reverence and attention. And grant that we may all daily grow in grace and the knowledge of Thee, until we come to Thine everlasting kingdom, where with the Father and the Holy Ghost, Thou livest and reignest, one God, world without end. Amen.

AT CLOSING.

There shall be perfect silence in the School, then shall be given out

A HYMN.

Our help is in the Name of the Lord,

R Who hath made heaven and earth.

Praise ye the Lord.

Ry The Lord's Name be praised.

Glory be, &c.

Then, all kneeling reverently, shall be said:

AT CLOSING SCHOOL, BEFORE GOING TO CHURCH. All standing reverently and devoutly, the Clergyman or Superintendent shall say:

We will go into the house of the Lord;

R Our feet shall stand in Thy gates.

Let the words of our mouth, and the meditations of our hearts, be always acceptable in Thy sight,

R O Lord, our Strength, and our Redeemer. Amen.

HEAVENLY Father, bless us, and sanctify our hearts, that we may perform a service acceptable to Thee; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

PRAYER BEFORE SERVICE IN CHURCH.

To be said privately by each Scholar, when all have got into their seats. All kneeling.

HEAVENLY Father, keep us from irreverence or carelessness in Thy Holy House. Give us grace to pray earnestly to Thee, to sing Thy praises gladly, and to listen humbly to Thy Holy Word, read or preached. Bless our Clergymen, and all who help in Thy services; and accept our worship, for Jesus' sake, our Lord. Amen.

PRAYER AFTER SERVICE IN CHURCH.

To be said privately by every Scholar.

GOD,

OD, I thank Thee that Thou hast made me a member of Thy Holy Church, and permitted me to worship therein. Pardon the faults and failings of my service, and teach me to serve Thee better; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Infants' School.

MORNING.

There shall be perfect silence: then, all standing, shall be sung

A HYMN.

Then, all kneeling, the Infants shall repeat this Prayer after their Teacher, sentence by sentence, with hands clasped:

GOD, Thou art very great and good. We thank Thee for having taken care of us all the week long. Help us to be good to-day. Make us obedient. to our teachers, kind to our companions, and gentle and loving, like the Holy Child Jesus. All this we ask for Jesus Christ's sake. Amen.
