In placing the following pages before the Public, it has been my aim throughout to avoid Sectarian controversy, and to give a clear exposition of the dire effects of sin, and the sacred influences of Christianity, as revealed in the Holy Scriptures; in hope of improving the moral and religious condition of those who may deem them worthy of their perusal.
