Who redeemeth thy life from destruction: Who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies. Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things: So that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's. The Lord executeth righteousness and judgment: For all that are oppressed. His acts unto the children of Israel. Slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. He will not always chide: Neither will he keep his anger for ever. He hath not dealt with us after our sins: Nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. For as the heaven is high above the earth: So great is his mercy toward them that fear him. As far as the east is from the west: So far hath he removed our transgressions from us. Like as a father pitieth his children: So the Lord pitieth them that fear him. For he knoweth our frame: He remembereth that we are dust. As for man, his days are as grass: As a flower of the field, so he flourisheth. For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone: And the place thereof shall know it no more. But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him: And his righteousness unto children's chil dren. To such as keep his covenant: And to those that remember his command ments to do them. The Lord hath prepared his throne in the heavens: And his kingdom ruleth over all. Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength: That do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word. Bless ye the Lord, all ye his hosts : Ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure. Bless the Lord, all his works in all places of his dominion: Bless the Lord, O my soul. PSALM 110. The Lord said unto my Lord: Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: Rule thou in the midst of thine enemies. Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning : Thou hast the dew of thy youth. Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek. Shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath. He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies : He shall wound the heads over many countries. He shall drink of the brook in the way: Therefore shall he lift up the head. PSALM 111. Praise ye the Lord. I will praise the Lord with my whole heart: In the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation. The works of the Lord are great: Sought out of all them that have pleasure therein. His work is honorable and glorious : And his righteousness endureth for ever. He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered : The Lord is gracious and full of compassion. He hath given meat unto them that fear him: He will ever be mindful of his covenant. He hath shewed his people the power of his works: That he may give them the heritage of the heathen. The works of his hands are verity and judgment: All his commandments are sure. They stand fast for ever and ever: And are done ir truth and uprightness. He sent redemption unto his people: He hath commanded his covenant for ever, holy and reverend is his name. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wis dom: A good understanding have all they that do his commandments, his praise endureth for ever. PSALM 118. Because his mercy endureth for ever. "That his mercy endureth for ever. Let the house of Aaron now say: That his mercy endureth for ever. Let them now that fear the Lord say: That his mercy endureth for ever. I called upon the Lord in distress: The Lord answered me, and set me in a large place. The Lord is on my side, I will not fear: What can man do unto me? The Lord taketh my part with them that help me: Therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me. It is better to trust in the Lord: Than to put confidence in man. It is better to trust in the Lord: Than to put confidence in princes. All nations compassed me about: But in the name of the Lord will I destroy them. They compassed me about, yea, they compassed me about: But in the name of the Lord I will destroy them. They compassed me about like bees, they are quenched as the fire of thorns : For in the name of the Lord I will destroy them. Thou hast thrust sore at me that I might fall: But the Lord helped me. And is become my salvation. The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the 'righteous : The right hand of the Lord doeth valiantly. The right hand of the Lord is exalted: The right hand of the Lord doeth valiantly. I shall not die, but live: |
