own blood, into the heavens for us. Thou dwellest in light which no man can approach unto; no man hath seen or can see Thee. Glorious art Thou, O LORD GOD, and ever to be praised, for revealing Thyself unto us, in and through Thy SON JESUS CHRIST. In knowing WHOм, we know THEE: For He is the brightness of THY Glory; Thine express Image: GOD manifest in the flesh! And exceeding glorious shall be the manifestation of Thy glory, when Thy SoN shall be revealed from heaven, as Thine anointed King, and Priest; and especially in that dispensation of Thy glory, when He who sitteth upon the throne shall make all things new; when the Holy City shall descend from Thee out of heaven, wherein shall be no Temple: For Thou, O LORD GOD Almighty, with the LAMB, art the Temple thereof.

O most gracious GOD, who hast called us to partake of such an exceeding and eternal weight of glory, enable us, we beseech Thee, to walk worthy of it, and so to press forward in our Christian course, that we fail not of its attainment, but for ever enjoy the fruition of Thy glorious Godhead. And that we may have grace this day so to walk, we present unto Thee our bodies, a living sacrifice; that, the unction of the Holy One, descending and remaining upon

us, we may perfectly love Thee, and worthily magnify Thy holy Name; yielding unto Thee our wills, and desires; our faculties, and all our members; the life of our bodies, the thoughts of our hearts, and the aspirations of our spirits.

Perfect, we beseech Thee, O LORD, Thy work of grace with power in our hearts: even all that concerneth us. Accept, and sanctify the offering up of ourselves, which we now make unto Thee. Let the fire of Thy love consume in us all the sinful desires of the flesh, and of the mind, and constrain us to live wholly unto Thee. May we patiently abide in rejoicing hope, waiting for Thy SON JESUS CHRIST, enduring the cross and despising the shame, for the glory which remaineth to be revealed in us when He appeareth.

We pray Thee to regard with Thy favour, each one of us who are now worshipping before Thee, and the absent members of this family; vouchsafe unto us the mercies suitable to our several wants, whether of mind or body; supply all our spiritual and temporal necessities; guide us in all our ways; sanctify unto us all Thy dispensations; and bless, and prosper us, in all our respective vocations in life.

those who are out of the way; turn the hearts of the rebellious unto Thee; comfort the penitent, and build up and establish all that believe. Let Thy blessing rest upon all Christian families; send forth Thine angels, and gather in Thine elect from the four winds under heaven; and unite and carry onward to perfection all Thy saints; that Thy Church may speedily apin her entireness and beauty, and be presented unto the LORD without spot or blemish, at His appearing and kingdom, for His Name's sake. R. Amen.

The Lord's Prayer.

OUR FATHER, which art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive them that trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil: For Thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, for ever and ever.

R. Amen.

The Benediction.

GOD the FATHER, GOD the SON, GOD the HOLY GHOST, bless, preserve, and keep you; the LORD

mercifully with His favour look upon you, and upon this whole family and household, and fill you with all spiritual benediction and grace, that you may live to His honour and glory, this day and for ever; through JESUS CHRIST Our SAVIOUR.

R. Amen.

THURSDAY EVENING.

Exhortation.

O come, let us worship, and bow down; let us kneel before the LORD our Maker.

Confession.

Almighty and most merciful FATHER; we come before Thee at the close of this day, in the name, and through the mediation of Thy beloved SON JESUS CHRIST; Who is the true Paschal Lamb slain for us; Who when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high. We confess with brokenness of heart, all our sins, iniquities, and transgressions, which we from time to time, most grievously have committed, in thought, word, and deed, against Thy Divine Majesty. Thou only knowest the magnitude of our offences, and how greatly we have dishonoured Thy holy Name by our unbelief and short-comings in Thy service. The blood of sprinkling hath been
