LETTER OF TRANSMITTAL.

ROOMS OF THE KANSAS STATE HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY,
STATE CAPITOL, TOPEKA, April 18, 1916.

To the Honorable Arthur Capper, Governor of Kansas:

We herewith submit the thirty-third volume of the Kansas State Horticultural Society, containing the transactions of the forty-eighth and forty-ninth annual meetings, and also the horticultural statistics for the years 1914 and 1915.

An inspection of this volume will demonstrate that horticulture is being placed on a more practical basis and is one of the important industries of our state.

Your consideration and approval of this volume will be appreciated. Respectfully submitted.
