About the author (2004)

Richard A. Taylor is professor of Old Testament Studies and director of Ph.D. Studies at Dallas Theological Seminary, Dr. Taylor has a Ph.D. from the Catholic University of America. He has more than thirty years of graduate-level teaching experience, and his specialties include Aramaic studies and Syriac literature. He published "The Peshitta of Daniel with E. J. Brill in 1994 and has also written for the "Journal for the Aramaic Bible, Hugoye: Journal of Syriac Studies, Bibliotheca Sacra, and the "Journal of the Evangelical Theological Society.
