truth keep me from every evil way. Thy Word declares that Ananias and Sapphira agreed together to "lie unto the Holy Spirit ; and that they did not lie unto man, but unto God '." May their fearful example impress in me the most reverential obedience to Thy Spirit: That spirit, who in the creation, “moved the face of the waters 2.

Pray be explicit; for if we are rightly inFormed, inftead of joining in fuch a fong, you would rather stop your ears, and run away, han hear fuch words.

Oh! if you hope for heaven, confider well; you may run away from fuch fongs on earth;
