And he said: Young man, I say to thee, arise. And he that was dead, sat up, and began to speak. And he gave hini to his mother. And there came a fear on them all: and they glorified God, saying; A great prophet is risen up among us; and, God hath visited his people. And this rumour of him went forth throughout all Judea, aud throughout all the country round about. Cure Of The Man Sick Of The Dropsy. The healing of the sick is a pious work which sanctifies the Lord's day. St. Luke, chap. XIV. And it came to pass when Jesus went into the house of one of the chief of the Pharisees on the sabbathday to eat bread, that they watched him. And behold, there was a certain man before him that had the dropsy. And Jesus answering, spoke to the lawyers and Pharisees, saying: Is t lawful to heal on the sabbath-day? But they held their peace.
