PSALM XCIII.

WITH glory clad, with strength array'd,
The Lord, that o'er all nature reigns,
The world's foundation strongly laid,
And the vast fabric still sustains.

2. How sure establish'd is thy throne,
Which shall no change or period see;
For thou, O Lord, and thou alone,
Art God from all eternity.

3, 4. The floods, O Lord, lift up their voice,
And toss the troubled waves on high;
But God above can still their noise,
And make the angry sea comply.

5. Thy promise, Lord, is ever sure,
And they that in thy house would dwell
That happy station to secure,

Must still in holiness excel.

PSALM XCVI. 12, 15,

BLEST is the man whom thou O Lord,
In kindness does chastise;
And by thy sacred rules to walk
Dost lovingly advise.

2. This man shall rest and safety find
In seasons of distress,
While God prepares a pit for those
Who stubbornly transgress.

3. For God will never from his saints
His favour wholly take:
His own possession and his lot

He will not quite forsake.

4. The world shall then confess thee just,

In all that thou hast done;

And those that chuse thy upright ways, Shall in those ways go on.

PSALM XCV. 1, 2, 3, 6.

O COME, loud anthems let us sing,
Loud thanks, to our almighty King;
For we our voices high should raise,
When our salvation rock we praise.

2. Into his presence let us haste,
To thank him for his favours past;
To him address, in joyful songs,
The praise that to his name belongs.

3. For God the Lord, enthron'd in state, Is with unrivall'd glory great; A king superior far to all

Whom gods the heathen falsely call.

4. O let us to his courts repair,
And bow with adoration there;
Down on our knees devoutly all
Before our Lord and Maker fall.

PSALM C.

ALL people that on earth do dwell, Sing to the Lord with cheerful voice; Him serve with fear, his praise forthtell, Come ye before him and rejoice.

2. The Lord, ye know, is God indeed,
Without out aid he did us make;
We are his flock, he doth us feed,
And for his sheep he doth us take.

3. O enter then his gates with praise, And let his courts with joy resound; Praise, thank, and bless our God always With glory let his name be crown'd.

4. For why? the Lord our God is good, His mercy is for ever sure;

His truth at all times firmly stood,
And shall from age to age endure.

PSALM C.

BEFORE Jehovah's awful throne,
Ye nations bow with sacred joy';
Know that the Lord is God alone,
He can create, and he destroy.

2. His sov'reign pow'r, without our aid,
Made us of dust, and form'd us men ;
And when like wand'ring sheep we stray'd
He brought us to his fold again.

3. We'll crowd thy gates with thankful songs,
High as the heav'ns our voices raise,
And earth with her ten thousand tongues
Shall fill thy courts with sounding praise.

4. Wide as the world is thy command,
Vast as eternity thy love;

Firm as a rock thy truth must stand,
When rolling years shall cease to move.
