this passing scene, nor ceases to soar till it
reaches to heaven, and becomes identified
with the Deity himself. For God is love,
and he that dwelleth in love, dwelleth in God
and God in him. Of this grace alone,
therefore, it can be with truth affirmed, that
it is both perfect in its nature, and infinite
in its duration. For when faith shall be
lost in vision, and hope in fruition—charity
will survive, and become the glorious attri-
bute of immortal spirits in the mansions of
the blest.
