Pages 95-98, containing the lines, "To his Mistresse,” missing, as in all copies, but contains "EPITHALAMIONS, or MARRIAGE SONGS," complete. ENGRAVED FOLDING PLATE, representing DR. DONNE in his winding-sheet. BookPLATE of GEORGE MEEK. A former possessor of this volume has laboriously corrected the text with portions cut out of a copy of the 1639 edition, which he states he broke up for that express purpose. His corrections appear on many leaves, and his notes on various others. Bound in is the ORIGINAL TITLE TO THE 1639 EDITION, as also the LIFE OF DR. DONNE by IZAAK WALTON (portion of the 4th Edition of his "Lives," LONDON, 1675). AUTOGRAPH LETTER from FRANCIS WRANGHAM to Joseph HasleWOOD, INSERTED.

Small folio, bound in full crimson crushed levant morocco, richly gilt back, with tasteful ornaments on back and sides, gilt inside border, edges gilded on the rough, by WORSFOLD. Engraved and printed title, a half-length PORTRAIT of DRAYTON, ENGRAVED by HOLE, on the verso of the latter. The titles and one or two other leaves have been skillfully repaired. THE MARGINS ARE AMPLE, AND EVIDENTLY THIS COPY IS ONE OF THE FEW PRINTED ON LARGE PAPER. FINE COPY.

ENGRAVED TITLE to the first part, and FULL-LENGTH PORTRAIT of PRINCE HENRY, both by W. HOLE. Some preliminary leaves of the second part misplaced, being bound in with the first. The leaf facing the engraved title, ("Vpon the Frontispiece"), the one "To the High and Mightie Henrie, Prince of Wales," with 12 lines on verso, and the last leaf of Table," in close fac-simile. Name of former owner written on title of second part. THE CURIOUS AND MOST INTERESTING MAPS (30 IN ALL) ARE IN THE FINEST POSSIBLE CONDITION, AS IS THE ENTIRE WORK, WITH THE EXCEPTIONS NOTED.
