MALTE BRUN's SYSTEM of GEOGRAPHY; with an INDEX of 44,000 Names. Complete in 9 vols. 8vo. price £7 bds.

In the translation now offered to the public, many important corrections and additions have been introduced. The additions to the Description of Great Britain and Ireland are more especially extensive: in fact, this portion of the translation has been entirely re-written, and rather merits the title of an original work. The GEOGRAPHICAL INDEX will be found to be the most accurate and comprehensive work of the kind in our language: it is so constructed as to be a complete Table of Reference to the whole work, while it forms an extensive and useful GAZETTEER.

"The translators of M. Malte Brun's Geography have done great service to the public, by rendering so valuable a work accessible to the English reader."-Edinburgh Review. "Infinitely superior to any thing of its class which has ever appeared."-Literary Gazette.
