Have I borne in mind that I am a temple of the Holy Ghost, and kept myself in thought, word, and deed, from everything that would defile the dwelling-place of God?

A FORM OF CONFESSION.

I will arise and go to my Father, and will say unto Him, Father, I have sinned against heaven and before Thee, and am no more worthy to be called Thy son.-S. Luke xv. 18, 19.

the God of

I confess and bewail before Thee all the sins of thought, word, or deed, by which I have provoked Thee to anger, especially [Here recount those sins of commission or of omission by which you feel that you have offended Almighty God, and for which you specially stand in need of forgiveness]. Against Thee, O Lord, have I sinned, and to Thee do I make my confession. Turn not away Thy Face from Thy servant, whom Thou hast redeemed with the precious blood of Thy dear Son. Spare me, O merciful Father, I beseech Thee: and grant me Thy grace, that henceforth I may live in Thy fear and to Thy glory; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

PSALM CXXX.

UT of the deep have I called unto Thee, O
Loft Lord, hear my voice.

SUBSTANCE OF CHRISTIAN KNOWLEDGE.

O let Thine ears consider well: the voice of my complaint.

If Thou, Lord, wilt be extreme to mark what is done amiss: O Lord, who may abide it?

For there is mercy with Thee: therefore shalt Thou be feared.

I look for the Lord; my soul doth wait for Him in His word is my trust. My soul fleeth unto the Lord before the morning watch, I say, before the morning watch.

O Israel, trust in the Lord, for with the Lord there is mercy and with Him is plen

teous redemption.

And He shall redeem Israel: from all his sins.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son : and to the Holy Ghost;

As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be world without end.

UR Father, which art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, As it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, As we forgive them that trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation; But deliver us from evil : For Thine is the kingdom, The power, and the glory, For ever and ever. Amen.

Our feet shall stand in thy gates: 0 Jerusalem.

Jerusalem is built as a city that is at unity in itself.

For thither the tribes go up, even the tribes of the Lord to testify unto Israel, to give thanks unto the Name of the Lord.

For there is the seat of judgement: even the seat of the house of David.

O pray for the peace of Jerusalem

Peace be within thy walls and plenteousness within thy palaces.

For my brethren and companions' sakes: I will wish thee prosperity.

Yea, because of the house of the Lord our God I will seek to do thee good.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son : and to the Holy Ghost;

As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be world without end. Amen.

GOD, Who only art holy, and Who dost by Thy grace purify the unholy: Cleanse me, I beseech Thee, from every spot of sin, so that, being justified by Thee, and sanctified by Thy Holy Spirit, my name may be found among those that are written in heaven; Grant this, for the sake of Jesus Christ, our most blessed Lord and Saviour. Amen.

Who makes us glad with the weekly remembrance of the glorious resurrection of Thy Son our Lord; Vouchsafe me this day such a blessing through Thy worship, that the days which follow may be spent in Thy favour; through the same Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

and strengthen her in Thy great goodness. Defend those whom Thou hast appointed to be shepherds of Thy flock, whether Bishops, Priests, or Deacons, and enable them with great power to preach Thy Word: and grant to Thy people, that in purity and holiness, in faith and charity, they may persevere in all godly and Christian conversation, and set forth Thy glory.
