“ Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word ; that they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us; that the world
believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me, I have given them ; that they may be one, even as we are one; (I in them, and thou in me ;) that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world
know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. Father, I will that they also whom thou hast given me be with me where I am ; that they may behold my glory which thou hast given me ; for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world. O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee; but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me. And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it; that the love wherewith thou hast loved me, may be in them, and I in them.”

Peter answered and said unto him;“ Though all men shall be offended because of thee, yet will I never be offended."
Jesus said unto him ; “ Verily I say unto thee, that this night, before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice."
Peter said unto him ; " Though I should die with thee, yet will I not deny thee.”
Likewise also said all the disciples.
And they came to a place, which was nam32–36. ed Gethsemane; and he saith to his disciples;
“Sit ye here, while I shall pray.” And he taketh with him Peter, and James, and John; and began to be sore amazed, and to be very heavy. And he said ; “ Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from

And he came and found them asleep again; (for their eyes were heavy ;) and he left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words. And he cometh the third time, and saith unto them; “ Sleep on now, and take
your rest; it is enough, the hour is come; behold, the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners. Rise up, let us go; lo, he that betrayeth me is at hand.”
And while he yet spake, lo, Judas, one of Matt. the twelve, came, and with him a great mul- 47–49. titude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and elders- of the people. Now he that betrayed him gave them a sign, saying ; “ Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he; hold him fast.” And forth with he came to Jesus, and said ; “ Hail, Master;" and kissed him.
But Jesus said unto him ; “ Judas, betray-Lawi. est thou the Son of man with a kiss ?"
Jesus therefore knowing all things that :zvili. should come upon him, went forth and said unto them; “ Whom seek

Jesus saith unto them; “I am he.”
(And Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them.) As soon then as he had said unto them; “ I am he;" they went backward, and fell to the ground.
Then asked he them again ; " Whom seek
