Thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy to all that call upon thee. Pfal. lxxxvi. 5.

The Lord is good, bis mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. Pfal. c. 5.

O that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men. Pfal. cvii. 21.

That they would offer unto him the facrifice of thanksgiving, and tell of his works with gladness. Ver. 22.

Let all those that seek him be glad, and rejoice in him: let fuch as love his falvation fay continually, the Lord be praised. Pfal. xl. 16.

LET us offer unto God the facrifice of thanksgiving for his abundant mercies unto us and to all mankind.

People.

Bleffed be the Lord for his goodness and for his loving kindness to the children of men.

The General Thanksgiving.

ALMIGHTY God, Father of all mercies, we thine unworthy fervants do give thee most humble and hearty thanks for all thy goodness and loving kindness to us and to all men. We bless thee for our creation, preservation, and all the bleffings of this life; but above all, for thine inef.timable love in the redemption of the world
