ALMIGHTY God, the fountain of all wisdom, grant, we beseech thee, unto us thy fervants a right judgment in all things;

give us a filial fear and love of thy name; increase in us true religion, and establish our hearts in all goodness. Direct and preserve us in the way of thy truth, and in obedience to thy commandments, that thou being our ruler and guide, we may fo pass through things temporal, that we finally lose not the things that are eternal.
