eyes unto thee, from whom our hope cometh, beseeching thee to preserve unto us the appointed weeks of harvest, and to give us seasonable weather for ripening and gathering in the fruits of the earth, that in due time we may enjoy them. Suffer not the hopes of the husbandman to fail; may the poor be satisfied with bread; continue to bless us with the bounties of thy providence; and may we evermore live to thy praise in a wife, grateful, and temperate enjoyment of thy mercies, who art the only giver of all good.
