Affift those who are in neceffity or trouble; and have compaffion on all who are afflicted. Strengthen the weak; fupport the aged; provide for the fatherless and widows, and all who are defolate and oppreffed. Shew thy mercy on all prifoners and captives, especially to fuch as fuffer for righteousness fake.

Blefs our friends, reward our benefactors, forgive our enemies, perfecutors, and slanderers, and turn their hearts. And may it please thee to have mercy on all men. Amen.

Concluding Prayer.

ALMIGHTY and most merciful God! who takest pleasure in those that love and ferve thee; we humbly befeech thee favourably to regard the united thanksgiv

ings and fupplications, which we have now offered unto thee.

Graciously affift us in attending to the further inftructions of thy word; and grant that every act of focial worship may promote in our hearts piety to thee, love to each other, and benevolence to all mankind; and by a serious and regular attendance on the ordinances of thy house, may we add fincerity to our profeffions, ardor to our devotion, and ftrength to our virtue: Thus may we be enabled to cultivate those difpofitions and habits, which will render us useful and happy here below; and prepare us for the more exalted pleasures which flow at thy right hand forevermore, which thou haft promised to the faithful followers of Jefus Chrift, in whose words we conclude our prayers:

OUR Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven; Give us day by day our daily bread; and forgive us our trefpaffes, as we forgive them that trespass against us: Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil; for thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Let the Minifter introduce the Service by reading the following Sentences; the People rising up.

WHEREWITH shall we come before

the Lord, and bow before the most high God?

He hath fhewed us, brethren, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of us, but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with our God?

Whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jefus, giving thanks unto God, even the Father, by him.
