Let the work of righteoufnefs in our fouls be peace, and the effect of righteousness quietness and affurance for ever m.

Speak peace unto thy people, and to thy faints, and let not them turn again to folly ".

O create the fruit of the lips, peace, peace to them that are afar off, and to them that are nigh, and raftǝre comfort to thy mourners o.

Where the fons of peace are, let thy peace find them out, and rest upon them P.

O let no iniquity have dominion over us, because we are not under the law, but under grace 2.

Let the flesh be crucified in us, with its affections and lufts; that walking in the Spirit we may not fulfil the lufts of the flesh a.

Let our old man be crucified with Chrift, that the body of fin may be deftroyed, that henceforth we may. not ferve fin; and let not fin reign in our mortal bodies (in our immortal fouls) that we fhould obey it in the lufts thereof. But being made free from fin, let us become the fervants of righteousness b.

Let the law of the fpirit of life, which is in Chrift Jefus, make us free from the law of fin and death c.

2. We must pray for grace to furnish us for every good thought, word, and work; that we may not only be kept from fin, but may be in every thing as we should be, and do as we should do.

Let Chrift be made of God to us, not only righteoufnefs, but wisdom, fanctification, and redemption ".

Let us be planted together in the likeness of Chrift's death and refurrection, that as he was raifed from the dead by the glory of the Father, fo we alfo may walk in newness of life ".
