Outlander (Outlander, #1)

So I have read this book so many times I've lost count. I practically know it by heart and I'm that annoying person who tries to get everyone they know to read the book. (grin)
With the release of the new Starz series Outlander, I wanted to brush myself up on everything so I decided that instead of doing another reread I would do a re-"listen". Man, what a treat Davina Porter is to the ears. She's got the accents down and makes the book come alive.
If you have had any trouble with finishing the book I would strongly suggest getting the audio books and giving them a listen. (There will be A LOT of discs - the books are HUGE, but they are worth the time.)
I've made my way all the way through to The Fiery Cross and plan to re-"listen" to the remaining available and then FINALLY give Written In My Own Hearts Blood a read.

I did just that leading up to reading MOBY. The audiobooks are terrific. I haven't listed to the MOBY audiobook yet, but I will eventually. I am liking the Starz series, but I admit, I have to turn on the captions to understand the Scottish brogue.
